PM SHRI School, Kotli Welcomes Its Alumnus Anil Thakur

PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Kotli, accorded a grand welcome to its proud alumnus, Anil Thakur, who has recently been selected for training as a Flying Officer, on 22 December 2025. The entire school campus was filled with joy, pride, and enthusiasm on this memorable occasion.

This remarkable achievement is a matter of immense pride for Drubal village, the Tungal area, PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Kotli, and the entire Mandi district. Anil Thakur received his education from this very institution. He was accompanied by his respected mother and renowned social worker Shri Bhaskar Thakur.

Upon his arrival at the school, principal Dr. Pratibha Vaidya, along with teachers and students, warmly welcomed him by presenting bouquets.

In his address, Anil Thakur shared his inspiring and challenging journey on the road to becoming a Flying Officer. He emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and self-confidence. He told the students that no matter how big the goal is, it can be achieved through continuous effort and the guidance of teachers and parents.

Motivating the students, Anil Thakur said, “I wish that not just one Anil, but ten Anils emerge from this school, who bring glory to the nation and make their school, teachers, and parents proud.”

The teachers described Anil Thakur’s success as a proud moment for the school and encouraged students to draw inspiration from his achievements. At the end of the programme, everyone extended their best wishes for his bright and successful future.
